Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 1 June 2026

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do when using Aethera, including the website at https://aethera.ai, the desktop application, and all related features and services (together, the "Service"). It supplements, and is incorporated into, our Terms and Conditions, in particular Section 7 (Acceptable use). Capitalised terms used but not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.

By using the Service, you agree to follow this AUP and to ensure that anyone you allow to use the Service through your account does the same. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Prohibited activities

You agree not to, and not to permit anyone to:

  • use the Service in violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right;
  • circumvent usage limits, credit systems, rate limits, or access controls;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or the underlying models, except where permitted by applicable law;
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted;
  • use the Service to build a competing AI product, or to train competing models; or
  • interfere with, overload, or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or the infrastructure it runs on.

3. Content standards

You are responsible for the content you upload to, or generate with, the Service. You must not upload or generate content that:

  • is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory;
  • exploits, sexualises, or endangers minors;
  • promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity;
  • impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation in a way intended to deceive; or
  • contains another person's personal or confidential data that you have no lawful basis or authority to process.

4. Security and integrity

You must not use the Service to:

  • generate, host, or distribute malware, ransomware, or other malicious code;
  • conduct or facilitate phishing, fraud, or social-engineering attacks;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without authorisation;
  • gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data; or
  • defeat, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Service.

5. AI-specific use

Aethera produces AI-generated output. You must not:

  • present AI-generated output as human-authored where doing so is deceptive or unlawful;
  • use the Service to generate content designed to manipulate, defraud, or mislead, including large-scale spam or disinformation;
  • use outputs to make automated decisions about individuals that have legal or similarly significant effects without appropriate human review; or
  • rely on outputs as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before you act on or publish them.

6. Fair use of resources

The Service allocates capacity through credits, rate limits, and plan limits. You must not use scripts, automation, or shared accounts to exceed those limits, to obtain a benefit not intended by your plan, or to degrade the experience of other users. We may apply technical limits to keep the Service reliable for everyone.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and may use automated and manual means to do so. Where we reasonably believe a violation has occurred, we may remove or disable access to content, throttle or suspend features, or suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice depending on the severity and the risk to others. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement. Our enforcement rights are in addition to those in the Terms.

8. Reporting abuse

If you become aware of any use of the Service that violates this AUP, please report it to [abuse@aethera.ai]. Include enough detail for us to identify the content or account and to understand the issue.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, the law, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated AUP.
